Someone built this former residence on the Isle of Man fill of hopes and dreams, while cementing the bricks one by one. The rooms once echoed with laughter and maybe tears. Then one day, the family suddenly left. The home that was so loved, soon was forgotten. Its furniture too, left behind – a rocking chair, table and bed. Then the trees and shrubs started to swallow it up. Now all that remains is a ruin, like that of a carcass, which once held life.
